Hi, I am sweet,

my art.

and this is

Meet Sweet!

Sydny—aka Sweet Baby, aka your local pot dealer—is a San Diego-based ceramicist serving up cheeky, colorful pottery straight from the heart. When she’s not behind the wheel (pottery wheel, that is), she’s working in food service at one of San Diego’s hottest new restaurants and dreaming up her next bold creation.

The nickname Sweet Baby started with her boyfriend Corey, the most supportive lifeline and cheerleader a girl could ask for. His belief in her art (and constant encouragement through every glaze test and kiln mishap) helped bring Sweet Arts to life—and the name just stuck.

Sweet's love for art has always burned bright, but it wasn’t until she got her hands dirty with clay that everything finally clicked. After studying ceramics for two years at San Diego Mesa College, she realized the real work—and real magic—would happen on her own terms. So she built a backyard studio, rolled up her sleeves, and got to work.

Her pieces are inspired by all things playful: retro vibes, juicy colors, glittery textures, and even the way an orange slice glistens in the sun. Each mug, vase, or spoon rest is a little explosion of joy designed to make you smile, laugh, or just remember that life’s too short for boring dishes.

Raised in a small farm town in Central California, Sweet always dreamed of being an artist. Her dad—a contractor and creator in his own right—could build anything, and she’s inherited that love of making with her hands. Pottery, to her, is a full-circle moment: taking mud, shaping it into something useful, then transforming it through fire into a glossy, durable vessel. It’s messy, magical, and deeply meaningful.

Welcome to Sweet-Arts: a vibrant collection of handcrafted ceramics inspired by nostalgia, color, love, and pure creative joy. Every piece is a labor of love—and a little reminder that sweetness belongs in everyday life.
